It permanently locks bolts and press fits from 3/8 in. to 1-1/2 in. (10 mm to 38 mm) against loosening caused by shock, vibration, and heat stress. This formula is specifically developed for newer engines and high-performance applications needing extreme temperature resistance up to 450°F (232°C). You replace it when disassembling components like camshaft sprockets, crankshaft bolts, ring gears, or transmission shafts—applying fresh threadlocker ensures a reliable, leak-proof seal and prevents corrosion. The bond is removable only with heat and hand tools, typically by heating parts to 500–600°F (260–316°C).
