It is typically used on large bolts and studs up to 1 inch (M25), such as those on engine components, valve covers, water pumps, and alternators. The low-viscosity liquid wicks into threads easily, sets in about 10 minutes, and fully cures in 24 hours. Once cured, the bond can only be disassembled after heating the parts to 500°F (260°C).
