This is a unitized oil seal for 10,000 lb heavy-duty trailer axles with oil bath hubs.

It seals the wheel bearing cavity, keeping oil in and dirt, water, and debris out. Replace it when you notice oil leaks around the hub or during routine brake and bearing service to prevent bearing failure. This seal is for heavy-duty axles only, not the general duty 10K version.
