This is a grease seal for 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb capacity Dexter E‑Z Lube trailer axles.

It fits over the spindle and presses into the hub to keep bearing grease in and dirt, water, and debris out. You replace it when repacking or replacing wheel bearings, or when you notice grease leaking from the hub. A double‑lip design with a tension spring helps maintain a tight seal around the spindle.
