EQUALIZER 10 SLIPPER (200)

This is a 10-inch slipper spring equalizer used on tandem- or triple-axle trailers with 2-inch wide slipper springs. It hangs from the trailer's center hanger and links the front and rear axle springs together. Its job is to transfer road impacts between the axles and distribute weight evenly, which gives the trailer a smoother ride and reduces stress on the frame. These equalizers are replaced when they become bent, cracked, or when the center pivot hole wears out of round, causing axle misalignment.
