A shackle link (also called a shackle strap) is a flat steel plate that connects the eye of a leaf spring to the trailer frame hanger or to the suspension equalizer.
Confirm the part fits before you buy. Applications and interchange numbers are researched and audited per part.
We don't publish fitment for this part yet. Rather than guess, get it confirmed against your truck in under a minute.
It pivots on bolts at both ends, allowing the spring to flex and change length as the trailer moves over bumps and uneven ground. You replace a shackle link when it becomes worn, bent, cracked, or corroded—common on older utility, boat, camper, and light equipment trailers. This particular link has a 2.25-inch center-to-center distance, which is a very common size for single- and tandem-axle trailer suspensions with 1-3/4" wide double-eye leaf springs.
