It connects 1/2 inch outside diameter (OD) nylon air line tubing to a 3/8 inch NPT female pipe port. The swivel design allows the elbow to be rotated after installation for easy alignment, then the swivel nut can be tightened to lock it in place. Replace it when you experience air leaks at the fitting, the tubing won't lock securely, or the body shows cracks or corrosion.
