It accepts 3/8” outside diameter nylon or similar air brake tubing on one end and provides a 3/8” male NPT thread on the other. The fitting is rated for up to 150 psi working pressure and can operate in temperatures from -40°F to +200°F. It is used to quickly connect or repair air lines on heavy-duty trucks and trailers without requiring tools. Replace it if the push-to-connect sleeve no longer grips the tubing securely, or if air leaks, cracks, or corrosion are present.
