It contains a leather seal, a wear sleeve, and a disposable installation tool (Insta-Tool) to simplify replacement and ensure proper seating. The seal prevents oil from leaking out of the hub and brake area, which can cause brake contamination and bearing failure. Replace when you notice oil seepage around the wheel end or during scheduled hub maintenance.
