2-1/2 U-BOLT

This is a 2-1/2 inch U-bolt, a U-shaped metal fastener with threaded ends. In truck and trailer applications, U-bolts are most commonly used to clamp leaf springs to the axle, but they can also secure pipe, conduit, or other cylindrical components to a frame or chassis.
