SHUT OFF GLAD HAND (SERVICE)

This is a service-side shutoff gladhand, commonly mounted with a two-bolt flange. It connects the emergency or service air line from a truck to a trailer, allowing air to flow for brake operation. The integrated shutoff valve lets you close the air passage when the trailer is not coupled, preventing contamination and pressure loss. A worn or leaking gladhand seal can cause air leaks and poor brake performance, making replacement essential during routine inspections.
