It features a Teflon (PTFE) inner tube with a stainless steel outer braid that withstands temperatures from -65°F to 450°F, making it suitable for the harsh under‑hood environment. The hose is fitted with straight female #10 SAE flare swivel ends on both sides for easy installation and flexibility. It is typically replaced when the original hose becomes brittle, develops leaks, or is damaged by heat and vibration.
