It delivers air to the trailer’s spring brake chambers, releasing the parking brakes and providing service brake pressure. The coiled design keeps the hose off the deck, and it includes swivel end fittings and a protective steel spring guard to resist kinking and damage. Replace if the hose is cracked, leaking, or has worn out threads, as air loss here can cause brake drag or emergency brake application.
