This is a spring brake priority control valve with a relay feature for trailer air brake systems. It immediately supplies tractor air to release the spring brakes, then opens an internal pressure protection valve at approximately 80 PSI to fill the air reservoir. The relay design uses both tractor supply and trailer reservoir air to dramatically reduce spring brake release times, while the built‑in control port prevents brake compounding. It replaces Bendix SR‑5 valves and is used on single, tandem, or tridem axle trailers equipped with spring brake chambers.
