This is a Bendix R-14H relay valve with a 4 PSI crack pressure, used in heavy-duty truck and trailer air brake systems. It accelerates brake application and release by routing supply air directly to the brake chambers when the treadle valve is pressed. The valve features two 3/4″ supply ports and two 1/2″ delivery ports in a horizontal configuration. It is commonly replaced when the air brake system shows slow response, air leaks, or fails to maintain proper pressure balance.
