This is an SR-5 trailer spring brake valve. It uses air pressure from the trailer supply line to release the spring parking brakes. An internal anti-compounding feature prevents the service brakes and spring brakes from being applied at the same time, which protects brake chambers and improves safety. Replace this valve if it leaks, fails to hold pressure, or no longer properly controls spring brake release.
Fits most trailers equipped with spring brake axles and a single reservoir. The 3/4" NPT port mounts directly onto the reservoir. Verify port sizes and configuration against the existing valve.
