It’s a flexible nitrile rubber boot that connects your tank trailer’s vapor vent to the loading rack’s vapor rail during fuel loading, capturing escaping vapors to reduce emissions. The hood is built to withstand ozone and UV exposure, and it collapses in a rollover to help keep product inside the tank. You replace it when the rubber becomes cracked, torn, or stiff from age.
