RS404 CORE DEPOSIT

This is a core deposit charge for a Dana Spicer RS404 differential carrier. The deposit is applied when you purchase a remanufactured or new carrier unit and is refunded after you return the rebuildable core (your old carrier). The RS404 carrier is a heavy-duty drive axle component that houses a hypoid ring and pinion gear set, typically with a 3.36 ratio and 41 involute splines on the axle shafts. It is used in medium-duty trucks and buses with Dana RS404 single-reduction rear axles.
