This internal air-operated valve controls fuel flow during loading and unloading, and it automatically closes if the outlet piping shears in an accident thanks to a frangible groove. A built-in mechanical jack screw lets you manually open the valve if air pressure is lost, and a fusible plug melts at 212°F to safely vent pressure. Made from aluminum with a grooved (Victaulic) outlet, it uses Tef-O-Sil seals for compatibility with gasoline, diesel, ethanol, biodiesel, and methanol.
