It is an angled, high-impact gray ABS bracket that bolts onto a flat surface and deflects low-hanging branches, brush, and debris away from the light lens to prevent cracking and breakage. The bracket is specifically shaped to fit standard 1-inch by 2-inch Model 15 series lamps, both incandescent and LED, and features a snap-on design for easy lamp installation. You would replace this mount when the original bracket has been cracked, broken off, or lost due to an impact.
