It is made of high-impact gray polycarbonate and uses a 2-screw bracket to surface-mount the lamp, tipping it to a 45-degree angle. The angled design helps the light meet PC (photometric) requirements when used with PC-rated LED or incandescent bulbs while also deflecting brush and branches away from the lamp. You replace this bracket when the original mount is cracked, broken, or missing, or when a lamp upgrade calls for a PC-rated mounting angle.
