It collects fuel vapors during loading/unloading and routes them to a recovery system to prevent release into the atmosphere. The hose has a nitrile rubber inner tube, a rigid PVC helix for crush resistance, and a built-in static grounding wire to safely dissipate static electricity. It is replaced when the cover becomes cracked, the hose loses flexibility, or the static wire is compromised.
