It consists of a flexible, moisture-resistant foam core panel that mounts across the trailer interior, allowing one section to be kept frozen while the other is cooled or kept ambient. The built-in door provides personnel access between compartments without removing the bulkhead. These are typically replaced when the vinyl facing is torn, the core becomes waterlogged and sags, or the door hinges/handles fail, compromising the temperature seal and food safety compliance.
