It engages the compressor when the cab A/C is turned on, using a 12V electromagnetic coil. The clutch is typically replaced when the bearing becomes noisy, the coil fails electrically, or the friction surface wears out and slips. It fits CCI/Blissfield-style compressors with a 6 1/4-inch pulley and a single V-belt groove.
