P34016
The P34016 is a 4-post start solenoid designed for power up/power down liftgate systems. It acts as a high-current switch that activates the electric motor to raise and lower the gate. This intermittent-duty, 150 Amp solenoid provides a reliable ground and is commonly mounted directly on the side of the motor. It is replaced when the liftgate motor fails to start, often due to burnt internal contacts or coil failure.
Replaces Leyman P33895. Generally fits applications requiring a 4-post, 150 Amp intermittent duty solenoid with a curved narrow base for motor mounting.
