Has a 2-inch deep counterbore (splines removed) at the end of the barrel. Not suitable for all long-tail applications; Neapco recommends yoke N2-3-9161X for most long tail installations. If your transmission output shaft has an O-ring, confirm spline and counterbore measurements before ordering.

It slides onto the 32-spline output shaft and provides the connection point for a 1310-series U-joint, allowing the driveshaft to change length as the suspension moves. You typically replace it when the splines wear, the yoke becomes corroded or damaged, or when building a custom driveshaft for a TH400-equipped vehicle. It has a 2-inch deep counterbore, so you must verify that your output shaft does not require a yoke without a counterbore.
