The cam features a dual-lobe, zero-torque design that provides anti-rack control and extra leverage to break ice or frozen seals. It is typically installed at the left-hand top (road side) or right-hand bottom (curb side) of the lock rod. You would replace this cam if the door isn’t closing tightly, the lock rod is sloppy, or the cam is worn, bent, or broken.
