This is a Maxon tuck-under liftgate control switch assembly with a 9-inch wire pigtail. It's a momentary toggle switch that sends the raise and lower signals to power-down liftgate models like the GPTLR and TE-33. You replace it when the liftgate stops responding to the switch, or the switch becomes physically damaged or intermittent. The switch is built to withstand tough outdoor use and is a direct OEM replacement for the original part.
Designed for power-down liftgates. For GPTLR gravity-down models, use part number 267959-01 instead. Momentary toggle switch controls raise and lower functions.
