It is a heavy-duty cast ductile iron coupling component that mounts on a tractor frame to connect with a trailer's kingpin. It features a left-hand release handle, a 50,000 lb vertical load capacity and a 150,000 lb horizontal drawbar rating. The design includes a replaceable cushion ring, infinite adjustment for driver comfort, a remote grease zerk for easy lock jaw servicing, and can be rebuilt on the truck in about 30 minutes. It is intended for standard fifth wheel installations on heavy-duty trucks.
