It has a male pin plug on one end that fits into standard 4-inch round and oval lamps, and the other end provides a ring terminal for a chassis ground plus two blunt-cut wires for splicing into the vehicle's wiring. The pigtail is 11 inches long and uses 18-gauge GPT wire. It is used when the original lamp connector is damaged or corroded, or when installing a new lamp without a pre-attached plug.
