4' MECH, VICT, STRAIGHT BELLYVALVE

This is a 4-inch straight belly valve (emergency shutoff) for cargo tank trailers. It is an Emco Wheaton mechanical internal valve with a Victaulic (grooved) connection and Viton seals. Designed to sit at the bottom of a tank, it automatically slams shut during a rollover or pipe breakaway to prevent hazardous spills. You typically replace this valve when the seals leak, the valve fails to close completely, or after an accident has triggered it.
