It has an internal air-operated self-closing cylinder that instantly shuts off product flow if the trailer separates from the loading rack during bottom loading/unloading. The 90-degree elbow design has a grooved outlet and a sump inlet flange for secure connections. The valve uses Teflon product contact seals for chemical compatibility and is normally replaced when it no longer seals properly or fails to close in an emergency.
