It mounts to a TTMA sump flange on the bottom of a tank trailer and controls product flow during loading and unloading. The cable pull opens the valve from the side of the trailer; a shear section is designed to break away in an accident to prevent product spill. It features stainless steel trim and Teflon encapsulated seals for compatibility with a wide range of fuels and chemicals. This valve is typically replaced when the shear section is compromised or the seals fail.
