An aluminum body with a 90° swivel and 2-inch female NPT threads mates with a cam-and-groove adapter, while an internal poppet automatically closes the valve upon disconnection to prevent liquid loss. It is commonly used on tank trucks, fuel delivery trailers, and in industrial fluid transfer for petroleum, chemicals, or other liquids. Replace the coupler when seals wear, the cam arms become damaged, or if the automatic poppet no longer seals tightly.
