This is a 12-volt, single-terminal fuel shutoff solenoid designed for Cummins 855 (NTA855) and N14 diesel engines.

When energized, it opens the fuel valve at the PT pump to allow the engine to run; removing power closes the valve and shuts the engine down. It is replaced when the original solenoid fails, causing symptoms such as no-start, engine not shutting off, or intermittent stalling. Note that this listing is for the solenoid only—it does not include the rectangular sealing rings that accompany the full PAI 180211 kit.
