It's a double-wrapped stainless steel band with a 6-inch inside diameter and 5/8-inch width. Installation requires a tensioning tool to tighten the band around the hose, followed by a sharp hammer strike on the buckle with a conical punch to lock it permanently. These clamps are commonly used on heavy-duty truck and trailer air, coolant, and fluid lines where a vibration-resistant, tamper-proof seal is needed. Replace it when re-hosing a connection or if the clamp shows signs of corrosion, cracking, or loosening.
