CLUTCH

This is a heavy-duty manual-adjust clutch assembly for commercial trucks with manual transmissions. It uses a 15.5-inch ceramic-faced twin-disc design to transfer up to 1860 ft-lb of engine torque to the transmission. The Eaton EverTough manual-adjust mechanism features Kwik-Adjust technology and PowerThread adjusting ring to simplify maintenance and resist seizing. You would replace it when the clutch slips, chatters, or the friction material wears beyond the adjustment limit, often during a major driveline service.
