Its raw-edge, notched construction allows it to grip smaller pulleys and back idlers without slipping, while the EPDM rubber compound resists cracking from -60°F up to 250°F. You’d replace this belt when you see glazing, cracking, or bottom-out wear in the sheave grooves, or if the belt has stretched beyond the tensioner’s range. It’s commonly used as a direct replacement for industrial-power transmission drives that call for a BX66-inch classical-section belt.
