It is a regular-duty, bi-rotational motor with a thermal protection circuit that automatically shuts off if the motor overheats. The motor features a 2-post tang shaft connection, commonly used to raise and lower the platform on many liftgate models. It replaces Maxon liftgate motors with part numbers 280381 and 290089.
