APL3024
APL3024 is a 4-post upright start solenoid used on electric liftgate motors to transfer battery power to the motor for raising and lowering the gate. It is an intermittent-duty solenoid rated at 100 amps, housed in a black Bakelite canister, and mounts directly to the side of a 12V motor via a curved base. This solenoid is typically replaced when the liftgate fails to operate or the motor does not crank, often due to burned contacts or a failed coil. It is commonly found on power-up/power-down liftgate systems.
Fits liftgates with a 4-post power-up/power-down system and a motor that accepts a curved-base solenoid. Always verify mounting style and connector orientation.
