It has two female NPT threaded connections and a Victaulic groove outlet (FxFxVIC), rated for up to 1000 PSI, made of ductile iron. It mounts on the riser of a hose reel and allows the hose to rotate freely as it winds and unwinds, preventing kinks and twisting. Typically replaced when the swivel leaks, binds, or packing deteriorates from fluid exposure.
