It replaces a damaged or corroded light socket and wiring, providing a sealed connection through the light housing. The assembly includes a socket for a #1157 dual‑filament bulb (stop/turn and tail), a rubber grommet for weather‑tight mounting, and two wires (red and brown) with push‑button connectors. When your trailer’s light socket is broken or the wiring is frayed, you replace the whole pigtail.
