It mounts on tanker trailers using a standard 4-inch TTMA flange and allows for bottom loading and unloading of petroleum products such as diesel, gasoline, ethanol, and biofuels. The adaptor features a lightweight aluminum body with a hard-coated rotatable nose piece, stainless steel internals, and Viton seals for compatibility with modern fuels and additives. It includes an aluminum handle with grease fitting for smooth operation and mounting lugs for an optional air interlock valve. This head is typically replaced when damaged, corroded, or when seals wear out causing leaks.
