The interlock system prevents the trailer from moving while a vapor recovery hose is attached, and this switch is the electrical component that signals the loading rack that the vapor line is connected. When the switch fails, the safety interlock will not allow loading to begin, making a replacement kit necessary to restore proper loading bay safety sequences.
