It locks the trailer's spring brakes when the loading arm is attached, keeping the rig stationary until the arm is disconnected. The valve can be set up normally open or normally closed, has an adjustable roller-tip actuator, and mounts using standard TTMA and API hole patterns. It is typically replaced when internal seals wear, causing air leaks or failure to engage the brakes.
