A rear crankshaft seal kit for Detroit Diesel Series 50 and 60 engines. It contains a PTFE (Teflon) lip seal and a separate wear ring that presses onto the crankshaft, preventing oil leaks at the flywheel end. The kit is replaced when the original seal or wear ring becomes worn or damaged, causing oil loss. Proper installation must follow the specified counter-clockwise (CCW) rotation direction of the seal.
