It has a 16-spline, 3-inch major diameter input that slides on the transmission output shaft, allowing the driveshaft to adjust length during suspension movement. The yoke measures 10.25 inches from the u-joint centerline to the end of the spline, and it uses a standard 1810 universal joint with 1.938-inch bearing caps and a 7.547-inch span. You typically replace this part when splines are worn, the yoke ears are damaged, or as part of a driveshaft rebuild to restore proper driveline alignment.
