This is a heavy-duty driveline stub shaft (tube shaft) designed for use with 4.500-inch diameter drive shaft tubes with a .134-inch wall.

It has a 2.500-inch major diameter, 16-spline parallel spline that engages a slip yoke or splined coupling. The shaft measures approximately 10.656 inches from the end of the spline to the weld point, allowing it to be welded into a driveshaft assembly. It is typically replaced when splines are worn, twisted, or the tube section is damaged.
