END YOKE

The Dana/Spicer 6-4-7301-1 is a splined end yoke for heavy-duty truck drivelines. It is part of the 1710 series and uses a half-round strap style to secure the universal joint. This yoke slides onto a 1.998-inch, 38-spline output shaft (commonly found on manual transmissions) and transfers engine torque into the driveshaft. You replace it when the splines become worn, the yoke ears distort, or if there is excessive runout that causes driveline vibration.
