It features a bolt plate style for U-joint attachment and a 2.024-inch, 39-spline bore that slides onto a matching output shaft. End yokes are typically replaced when spline wear causes excessive backlash, when U-joint bearing seats become elongated, or after impact damage to maintain driveline balance and power transfer. This assembly includes the bare yoke (6-4-5501) and a slinger (231599).
